This agreement was written in English (Australia) and takes precedent over any translated version.
1. License
This agreement ("Terms of Service") details your relationship with the Link Recommender Facebook App (or "LinkR"), its associated research project, its investigators, and its supervisors (hereinafter "LinkR" or "We" or "Us") regarding the use of the LinkR Facebook App and its Websites (the "Service").
By using the Service, you accept this agreement ("Terms of Service") and consent to the collection, storage, and use of your information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for any equipment or fees, including Internet connection and mobile fees, that are required to access the Service. Your age when accessing our Service must comply with Facebook's Terms of Service, and in addition you (or your legal guardian) has reviewed and agreed to these Terms of Service.
Our work is released under the Apache License v2.0. By using LinkR and all associated documents, source code, and services, you are bound to the following license:

2. Privacy policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please take time to read our Privacy Policy, which also covers this Terms of Service. The Privacy Policy makes important disclosures about how we collect, store, and use your information in our research. In particular, our and your relationship with this project's funding source: Google Research Awards.
3. Updates to the terms of service and privacy policy
We reserve the right to change, modify, add and/or remove portions of these Terms of Service and its Privacy Policy, and revise other documents, policies, codes or rules, at any time without notification. We will post the updated Terms of Service and may give you notification of changes through email or messages on Facebook.
By continuing to use our Service, you agree to accept the changes. If you do not agree to any portion of the current version of our Terms of Service or Privacy, or any other documents or conduct relating to the LinkR research project, your license to use or your usage of the Service shall immediately terminate.
4. License limitations
While the Apache License limits our liability, we place limitations on your use of the Service to ensure the Service does not suffer from disruptions or interference from malicious activities. Any attempt by you to disrupt or interfere with the Service is a violation of this Terms of Use and may be in violation of criminal and civil laws.
Our application is designed for research to advance computer science, please do not spoil the spirit the Service was intended for. You agree that you will not, under any circumstances, engage in any act that we deem to be in conflict with the intent of the Service. In particular, cheating and hacking, offensive or infringing content, commercial activity (LinkR is free to use and distribute), unauthorised use or connection to the service, and collection and publication of personal information. We reserve the right to interpret your activities as malicious under these listed actions, and suspend or terminate your use of the Service with or without notice to you.
You may opt-out of our research at any time by uninstalling the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by sending a request to us - note that this requires you to terminate your use of the Service.
Please note that you use the Service at your own risk and in accordance with the License agreement. We emphasise the disclaimer or warranty and limited liability as in the License agreement, which include but not limited to the people involved in this research directly or indirectly, and any institutions or companies involved or associated with this research and this Service.
